Ralph Garr-Bill Lucas HBCU Baseball Classic

“The Atlanta Braves will host their fourth annual weekend series between two historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) baseball programs, the Ralph Garr-Bill Lucas HBCU Baseball Classic.
The two-game series will be played at Coolray Field, home of the Braves’ Triple-A affiliate, the Gwinnett Stripers, March 1-2.
Grambling State University will take on Florida A&M University, the alma maters of Braves Hall of Famers, Ralph Garr and Bill Lucas.
Designed to highlight baseball programs at historically black colleges and universities in the Southeast, the showcase provides an opportunity to expose student-athletes, support staff, and coaches to a Major League setting.
First pitch is slated for 5 pm on Friday, March 1, followed by game two on Saturday, March 2 starting at 12 pm.”
Tickets are $15
Proceeds from ticket sales benefit the growth of Black Baseball across the Southeast.
