Lawrenceville Science Tavern: Life Beneath Our Feet
November 9 @ 6:00 pm
Co-hosts Candace Timpte and Tirza Leader are relaunching Lawrenceville Science Tavern. Their mission is to bring science and scientists directly to the community through monthly talks and informal Q&A sessions.
The group meets at McCray’s Tavern in Downtown Lawrenceville on the second Monday of each month. Guests are encouraged to arrive at 6 p.m. for dinner, and the science talk begins at 7 p.m.
Dr. Chris Brown, GGC Professor of Biology will be presenting on the critters found in our fall leaf litter.
The event is family friendly.
Children ages 10 and up often enjoy the talks and have asked great questions in past years.
