The Return of Southern Rwy. 6901 at Southeastern Railway Museum (Duluth) - This Weekend

After a 14-month restoration, Southern Rwy E-8A 6901 returns to public viewing Saturday, May 2. Our volunteers put over 1000 hours into the project, partially funded by Norfolk Southern, the Pace Family Foundation, and our Fast Track to the Future Fund.

We’re hosting Landmark Series SD70IACS “Atlanta” from Norfolk Southern,
unlimited rides all weekend,
Cassie’s Catering,
famed RR artist Robert West,
and artists from the Duluth Fine Arts League will be on site.

Join us, 3595 Buford Hwy in Duluth, and celebrate 6901’s 75th anniversary, the work of our volunteers, and a little bit of history.
