Feb, 28: Care for Cops 5K Run/Walk

“The Care for Cops 5K Run/Walk is a community fundraising event honoring Georgia police officers killed in the line of duty and supporting the families they leave behind.

Saturday, February 28, 2026 (8am)

Race begins in front of City Hall, Suwanee, GA

This event helps raise awareness and critical funds for families who have lost a loved one while serving and protecting others.

Participants can run, walk, or show support.

Free Hands-Only CPR Class for Ages 14+

“During a cardiac emergency, the first few minutes matter most. CPR started before first responders arrive can double or even triple survival chances.

That’s why we’re making an effort to bring our CPR classes to fire stations in the community. Click the link to find out when we plan to be in your area and sign up.

Learn life-saving skills and know what to do when seconds matter most. Please note that this is not for certification and participants must be at least 14 years old.

Let’s Support a Gwinnett Team Making History:

The Collins Hill High School “Hill Yeah” cheer team just made history. 🎉

After an incredible season, they earned their first-ever State Championship and now they’re headed to nationals. For the first time in Georgia, Collins Hill (Suwanee) Cheer has qualified for the UCA High School National Cheerleading Championships in Orlando this February.

Getting there comes with real costs, and the goal is simple: make sure every athlete who earned this spot can go.
Community support can help make that happen.
