STEM – Science | What the Heck is Oobleck? (Ages 6-11)

“Is it a solid? Is it a liquid? It’s Oobleck, the wacky substance that defies the rules of physics! Join us to learn about non-Newtonian fluids and experiment with creating the mind-boggling Oobleck!
In this hands-on STEM adventure, we’ll dive into the bizarre world of non-Newtonian fluid: substances that change their state depending on force! You’ll learn the science behind Oobleck and why it doesn’t behave like regular liquids, put the scientific method to the test with a fun experiment, then get messy and make your own Oobleck to squish, squeeze, and explore!
When: Monday, June 16, 2025 (5:00pm – 6:00pm)
