Free English Classes at the Library!

Free Adult English Classes Coming to Gwinnett County Public Library Branches

Gwinnett County Public Library is offering free English language classes for adults age 19 and up, starting this September at three branch locations. Interested adults should attend a registration event first to take a placement assessment and sign up for the weekly class that follows.

Once registered, classes will run weekly from September 2026 through May 2027 in a supportive, welcoming environment.

Here are the registration event details:

Five Forks Branch
Registration event: Tuesday, September 1, 10 am to 12 pm
Weekly class: Tuesdays, 10 am to 11 am, September 2026 through May 2027

Registration event: Tuesday, September 1, 3 pm to 4 pm
Weekly class: Tuesdays, 3 pm to 4 pm, September 2026 through May 2027

Spots are limited, so I recommend registering early to secure a seat. This is a wonderful opportunity for adult learners in our community to build their English skills and connect with others on the same journey.
