Visit Hand Me Down Zoo (Winder)

Leaping Lizards!!! this weekend bring your scaley loving friends. We will open our reptile room this weekend!! You can book a 30 min encounter for $25 per person and be full contact with reptiles from around the globe. Not feeling touchy feely with the scales we’ve got you a $5 add on to your tour ticket gets you a walk in pass but no one will leave their enclosures for that. We will be open for tours and encounters Friday August 21st through Sunday August 23rd! Come spend some time on the wild side. Meet some of the new faces and play with your favorites

Friday August 21st:

Tours 10, 12, 2 & 4
Encounter Room 11, 1, & 3pm
Reptile encounter: 11, 1 & 3pm

Mini encounters include our possums, ferrets, hedgehogs, prairie dogs, chinchillas and mongoose! It’s more fuzzy fun in 30 mins than you’ll get anywhere!!!

Reptile Encounter is a 30 min indoor event. Meet and greet with reptiles from cross the globe from king rat snakes to panther chameleons meet the amazing scales of the world!

If you would like to hop on an encounter please send a text to 706-429-4591 with name, date, time and guest numbers so we can get you booked. Tours you just need to be at the property 10-15 mins prior to start time for check in. You don’t need to RSVP for tours.

Tours are COMPLETELY OUTDOORS! We recommend you come dressed for the heat, hydrated and close toed shoes. You are welcome to bring a fan, stroller, wagon and water bottles.

Tours are $10 per person with children under 2 free

Mini encounter is $25 per person (all guests)
