Meet the animals and have a wild day at Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary in Lilburn. Itās home to numerous native animals that canāt survive in the wild, along with a few exotics, and itās an easy, enjoyable place to explore during break.
What youāll see and do
- Meet the otter girls: Jolie, Emma, Ellie, and Harper
- Visit the wolf cave for a close-up view of Beo and Aurora
- Hang out in the barnyard and meet Donkay the donkey, Ferdinand the bull, and other farm animals
- Be amazed by the massive size of the bison
- Watch the spider monkeys and lemurs in action
- Take time to pet the bunnies in the bunny yard
Add to the fun
- Purchase a feed cup to feed deer, barnyard animals, bison, and bunnies
- Bring a lunch and relax at a shady picnic table while watching the animals
