Visit the Animals at the Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary in Lilburn!


Meet the animals and have a wild day at Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary in Lilburn. It’s home to numerous native animals that can’t survive in the wild, along with a few exotics, and it’s an easy, enjoyable place to explore during break.

What you’ll see and do

  • Meet the otter girls: Jolie, Emma, Ellie, and Harper
  • Visit the wolf cave for a close-up view of Beo and Aurora
  • Hang out in the barnyard and meet Donkay the donkey, Ferdinand the bull, and other farm animals
  • Be amazed by the massive size of the bison
  • Watch the spider monkeys and lemurs in action
  • Take time to pet the bunnies in the bunny yard

Add to the fun

  • Purchase a feed cup to feed deer, barnyard animals, bison, and bunnies
  • Bring a lunch and relax at a shady picnic table while watching the animals
