“Our annual President’s Day weekend feature’s guests from the Little White House in Warm Springs, expert guided tours of Presidential Pullmans Superb and Marco Polo, The “Roosevelts” will join us and you can have a photo taken with them in Marco Polo, we’ll have a talk on railroads in wartime service in our theater twice a day, the Duluth Library will have a presidential exhibit, and more as we confirm. Naturally you and your Valentine have run of the grounds, the depot, and the train rides, too.”

Kids earn a badge every time they complete a workshop.
Participants begin as Mini-Builders.
After earning 6 badges, they advance to Junior Builder.
Collecting 12 badges qualifies participants as Senior Builders.

The Olifer Math Competition is open to students in grades 1–8 who enjoy logical puzzles, creative problem-solving, and thinking beyond standard math lessons. This is not a traditional math test. These questions don’t come from standard textbooks and don’t test school standards. Instead, they encourage critical thinking, logic, and innovation to find solutions.
