SUMMARY:Snellville Christmas Tree Lighting & Parade
DESCRIPTION:“44th Annual Snellville Christmas Tree Lighting \n\n\n\nhe Christmas Parade begins at 5:30 p.m. at Wisteria Plaza and ends at the Towne Green. \n\n\n\nIt’s the most wonderful time of the year sharing the holiday experience with family and friends. We are so excited to be back to celebrate the joy and laughter as Snellville celebrates our Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and our Annual Lighted Christmas Parade. \n\n\n\nWe invite you to join us at the lighted Christmas parade which will kick off the festivities for the event. The parade will start at Wisteria Plaza at 5:30 p.m. and end at the Towne Green. Thousands of people will line the streets to watch the many lighted floats\, tractors\, and trucks that will pass by\, so plan to get there early for good viewing. And of course\, Santa will be found at the end of the parade getting ready to greet all the children with well wishes. \n\n\n\nPlan to celebrate the holiday tradition with an evening full of family fun activities for the entire family to enjoy on the Snellville Towne Green. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nCookie Decorating by Bill Rhodes Bakery\n\n\n\nRoasted S’mores by Tom Wages Funeral Services\n\n\n\nBuild-It Activity by Home Depot\n\n\n\nOrnament Decorating by Snellville Tourism and Trade\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll activities will charge a nominal fee. As always\, you may bring non-perishable food to trade in for your tickets. All food donations will be donated to the Southeast Gwinnett Co-op to “Give Hunger the Boot”. DESCRIPTION:Free Monthly Kids’ Workshop at Home Depot \n\n\n\nHome Depot’s Kids’ Workshop is a free in-person event that takes place on the first Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.\, welcoming children of all ages (recommended for ages 5+). Each workshop provides young builders with a hands-on project that includes a pre-cut wooden kit\, a Kids Workshop apron\, a certificate of completion\, and an apron pin to commemorate their achievement. These animals have encountered a challenge that they could not overcome\, either physical or behavioral\, and have been placed here to live out their lives serving as ambassadors for their species. They are here to educate our visitors about the wonderful wildlife with which we share space.Bear Hollow Zoo is located within Memorial Park.  \n\n\n\nMemorial Park is open from 8AM to sunset on weekdays and 9AM to sunset on weekends and holidays. Bear Hollow Zoo is open from 9AM – 5PM daily. Only service animals are permitted within Bear Hollow Zoo.Animals at Bear Hollow Zoo \n\n\n\nAll resideAll residents at Bear Hollow Zoo are non-releasable native wildlife. Exhibits change periodically.
