Polar Bear Plunge and Paddle 2023 (Gainesville)

How will you bring in the New Year? Come on out and start the New Year right! You will also be helping an amazing organization.
“The Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club (LCKC), a Legacy program of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games is very pleased to host the 25th edition of this chilly New Years Day tradition set for Sunday, January 1st, 2023.
Event will take place at the beach of Clarks Bridge Park.
* Paddle leaves at 11:00am for a 2 mile guided paddle
* Plunge begins at Noon
Register for one or both events!
This annual event is a fund-raising activity for non-profit Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club – LCKC which draws thrill seekers of all walks of life to immerse themselves into the cool waters of Lake Lanier to bring in the New Year. Check-In and On-site Registration opens at 10:30am. Shirts for those registered by Dec 16th.”
