Free National Park Day – Coming Up on Thursday, June 19! 🏞️
Mark your calendar! On Thursday, June 19, 2025, you can visit over 100 U.S. National Parks for free. No entrance fees required.
In Georgia, that includes:
✅ Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area
✅ Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park
✅ Cumberland Island National Seashore
✅ Fort Pulaski National Monument
✅ Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park
Junior Ranger Program
The Junior Ranger Program is perfect for kids. They can explore the parks, participate in exciting activities, and earn badges. It’s a fun way to learn about the importance of national parks and how to help protect them. Many programs are targeted to ages 5 –14, but are available to all.

Discounts
There are also free or discounted passes available for senior citizens, current members of the military, families of fourth-grade students, and disabled citizens. Learn more about the variety of passes offered by the America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass series.
