“What better way to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day than by taking to the trails to see what’s winging its way through your local park? Join your guides for a bird themed take-home craft at the pavilion for the youngsters and young at heart before we head out on the trails to looks for birds in the wetland and woods. No birding expertise needed. Binoculars provided or bring your own. Call 678.277.0902 for additional information.

“Join us for a bird watching walk as the weather grows cooler and we celebrate Native American Heritage Month. We’ll start with some cocoa to warm up and then take a leisurely walk to explore the trails to look for birds and learn about other wildlife, earning about their cultural and practical significance to native peoples as we go. Our trip will end by getting our hands dirty as we transplant some native rivercane. No birding expertise needed. Binoculars and tools provided or bring your own.
