Let’s Support a Gwinnett Team Making History

The Collins Hill High School cheer team has given Gwinnett County something big to celebrate.

After an incredible season, the Collins Hill “Hill Yeah” cheerleaders earned their 🏆 first-ever State Championship, a milestone made possible by years of hard work, dedication, and community support.

Now, they are headed to an even bigger stage.

For the first time in Georgia history, Collins Hill Cheer has qualified to compete at the UCA High School National Cheerleading Championships in Orlando this February. It’s a huge honor, not just for the team, but for their school, their community, and our county.

With that opportunity comes real expenses. Travel, lodging, meals, and competition fees add up quickly, and the timeline is short. The goal is simple and heartfelt: to make sure every athlete who earned this opportunity is able to go.

Community support can make that happen. Any contribution, no matter the amount, helps these student-athletes represent Gwinnett County on the national stage and experience something they’ll carry with them for life.

This is about more than cheer. It’s about believing in local kids, celebrating their achievements, and showing what a supportive community looks like when one of its own reaches new heights.

From State Champions to Nationals, Gwinnett is cheering them on. 💙🏆
