Get ready to sham-rock and roll with your wee ones this St. Patrick’s Day in Gwinnett County!

Here are several family-friendly events:


☘️ Saturday, March 8 (10:00am-2:00pm): Lilburchaun St. Patrick’s Day Celebration in Lilburn  FREE to attend
Including a Kid’s Zone, Face Painting, Irish Acrobats & Dancers, a Costume Contest and the Leaping Lilburchaun Car Show


☘️ Saturday, March 8 (1:00pm-5:00pm):  Irish Fest (Norcross)
FREE to attend “Experience Irish delights with music, dancing, face painting, balloon twisters, food and more! Come for the craic and celebrate St. Paddy’s Day in style! Sláinte!”


☘️ Friday, March 14 (6:00pm-8:00pm): Luck of the Forum – St. Patty’s Day Bash (Peachtree Corners) FREE to attend  The ultimate St. Patty’s Day bash, featuring: Performances by Drake Irish Dancers & Stayin’ Alive Crew, Bounce Slide, and more!


☘️ Saturday, March 15 (1:00pm-7:00pm): St. Paddy’s on Perry – The Ultimate St. Patrick’s Celebration (Lawrenceville) FREE to attend “Get ready for live music, epic contests, and all-day food & drink specials as we celebrate St. Patrick’s in style!” Celebrate all things Irish at this family lawn party with a kids’ zone of games, crafts, and inflatables. (St. Paddy’s On Perry-Kid Zone: Wristbands available for kids age 3-12 now. $6)



☘️ Saturday, March 15 (4:00pm-6:00pm): Shake Your Shamrock at the Mall of Georgia (Buford) FREE to attend “Join us for live music, Irish Dancers and more family fun!”


☘️ Saturday, March 15 (7:00pm): The BorderCollies at LAC (Lawrenceville) ($20) Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day Weekend with The BorderCollies. Joining them are the talented dancers from Atlanta Irish Dance by Burke Connolly.


☘️ Sunday, March 16 (8:00pm): Fawney Rig at Red Clay Music Foundry (Duluth) $25 advance ($30 day of show) Fawney Rig is an Irish folk-rock project featuring the lilting voice of Claire Campbell (Hope For Agoldensummer) and the seasoned growl of Nathan Peters (Beat Up).


☘️ Monday, March 17 (4:00pm): STEM Science: | Saint Patrick’s Day Agamograph at the Library FREE to attend
“Learn a brief history of Saint Patrick’s Day. Make an agamograph, an optical illusion picture.”


☘️ Monday, March 17  (4:30pm): Shamrock Shenanigans! at the Library  FREE to attend
“Wear your green and learn more about St. Patrick’s Day. Maybe you’ll even catch a leprechaun! Ages 3 and up.”

  2. Four-leaf clovers are mutations of the common three-leaf clover, and they are estimated to occur once in every 10,000 clovers.
  3. It is considered lucky to find a four-leaf clover, and it is said that the luck will increase if the clover is found accidentally.
  4. According to Irish folklore, four-leaf clovers are associated with leprechauns and fairies, and they are said to provide protection against evil spirits.
  5. Four-leaf clovers are not the only lucky clovers – there are also five-leaf, six-leaf, and even seven-leaf clovers.
  6. There are several different species of clover that can produce four leaves, including white clover, red clover, and black medic.
