Polar Plunge for Special Olympics Georgia (Acworth)
February 25 @ 9:00 am
“TAKE THE PLUNGE
Polar Plunge is the largest fundraising effort benefiting Special Olympics and many states across the nation participate in this annual event through the efforts of their Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) program. Proceeds raised go to help provide FREE year-round sports training and competition for SOGA’s 17,429 athletes! Participants (teams and individuals) who collect pledges from friends and family totaling at least $50 secure their plunging spot!
Special Olympics Georgia will also be bringing back Tug-A-War this year at Polar Plunge! Get your ticket while registring for Polar Plunge. Team sizes have to be either 6 person minimum or 8 person maximum.
Do you have what it takes to make the plunge and be “freezin’ for a reason”? On February 25, 2023, brave Plungers will have the opportunity to jump into icy waters in the middle of winter to show their support for Special Olympics Georgia athletes! Acworth Beach will once again be the backdrop for a day of chilly fun including live music, food, and prizes.
